SUNSET SUPPORT

LAUNCHING SUMMER 2025

Sunset Support...Helping you come to terms with a life limiting/incurable diagnosis.

When given a life limiting/incurable diagnosis such as secondary cancer, or are referred to palliative care for symptom support - this can be an overwhelming and earth shattering time. It can take months, even a year to adjust and process a diagnosis like this.

An incurable diagnosis does not always mean you only have weeks or months left. People can live over 10-15 years with a secondary cancer diagnosis. Once you have all the information from your medical team and gathered all the options available to you - there then becomes a process of grieving, processing and planning.

How to approach this can be overwhelming and daunting. Understanding that palliative care services are there to help you live as long as possible, as well as possible, is key to having control and feeling empowered.

This programme has been specifically designed by specialists and people with lived experience to help guide you through the key challenges, to help you regain control and comfort.
